Position Summary

Face of Liberty International is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Director of Development to support the organization’s growth and sustainability efforts. Reporting to the Executive Director, the successful candidate will gain hands-on experience in partnership development, stakeholder engagement, project support, research, communications, and organizational growth while contributing to meaningful social impact.

Key Responsibilities:

– Support the identification and development of funding and partnership opportunities.

– Assist in the preparation of concept notes, proposals, reports, and other development documents.

– Conduct research on emerging trends, funding opportunities, and potential collaborations.

– Support the planning and implementation of programs, events, and initiatives.

– Build and maintain relationships with partners, clients, and stakeholders.

– Support digital communications and outreach activities to enhance Face of Liberty’s visibility.

– Maintain records and databases related to projects, partnerships, and stakeholders.

– Support monitoring, reporting, and documentation of organizational activities and impact.

– Participate in meetings, workshops, and networking events as required.

– Perform any other duties assigned by the Executive Director.

Qualifications and Skills:

– Recent graduate with a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences or any related field.

– Candidates with relevant skills and a strong interest in development and social impact are encouraged to apply.

– Strong writing, research, and analytical skills.

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

– Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

– Proficiency in Google doc, Microsoft Office and digital collaboration tools.

– Demonstrated interest in development, innovation, entrepreneurship, public policy, or social impact.

– A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
