Ideas become powerful when people can apply them.
FLI's programme portfolio develops knowledge, leadership, institutions, public narratives and recognition across the African freedom movement.

One pipeline. Four interventions.
The portfolio is designed as a connected system rather than a collection of unrelated events. People first encounter ideas, deepen their capability, build initiatives, communicate to broader audiences and receive recognition for principled impact.
- Develop intellectual confidence and practical leadership.
- Accelerate alumni projects and emerging organisations.
- Use creativity to widen public engagement.
- Recognise people whose work makes liberty tangible.
Free Market Fellowship.
A rigorous programme that combines economic and institutional ideas with mentorship, discussion, collaboration and real-world application.
Fellows do not graduate by attendance alone. Capstone work demonstrates that they can turn learning into a useful intervention in their own context.

Liberty Accelerator.
Hands-on support for high-potential alumni, advocates and emerging organisations. The accelerator focuses on strategy, programme design, governance, fundraising, communications and measurable execution.
Its purpose is not to create dependency. It helps founders establish the operating discipline required to build credible, resilient institutions.
Discuss accelerator partnership →Art for Liberty.
Policy language rarely travels by itself. Art for Liberty uses visual art, design, performance and story to make ideas about dignity, agency and freedom accessible to people outside traditional policy spaces.
The project can support exhibitions, creative commissions, public workshops and digital storytelling campaigns.

The Liberty Honours.
The Liberty Honours is FLI's recognition platform. It includes the Face of Liberty Awards and celebrates individuals whose work expands freedom, opportunity, human dignity and institutional trust.
Recognition is designed as more than a ceremony. Honourees become visible examples, enter a values-aligned network and help strengthen the public narrative around principled leadership.
